It fits perfectly in the adjustable shelf racks that come with the cage and the smooth surface makes cleaning a breeze!

We use a thick 26ga sheet metal, either galvanized steel or stainless steel.

It measures 21-1/2 deep x 15-5/8 wide and is Handmade here in Austin

I desperately needed shelves with high walls, as I'm not sure what my rats do all night, but whatever it is, it involves kicking huge amounts of bedding out and onto the floor. Exactly what I needed

I needed a metal replacement shelf for my Critter Nation cage because my chinchillas like to chew on fleece. This works great because it sits perfectly where the plastic shelf used to go and if needs some padding, I can use binder clips to make a nice fleece blanket section. Great quality!
