Our Ferret & Critter Nation Shelf pan enables you to remove the plastic with a robust steel pan with an option of powder-coated colors!
It fits perfectly in the adjustable shelf racks that come with the cage and the smooth surface makes cleaning a breeze!
We use a thick 26ga sheet metal, either galvanized steel or stainless steel.
It measures 21-1/2 deep x 15-5/8 wide and is Handmade here in Austin

my hamster ate the plastic tray that the cage came with and i looked for a while for a replacement. i found these guy and let me tell you its exactly what i needed. great craftsmanship and the color is pretty. i will be buying more stuff for my cage as my hamster eats the rest of the plastic lol

Perfect fit and keeps litter from falling out of top level. Should have bought it at the same time I bought the shelf pan for the lower level, but better late than never.

I have 4 female rats in a double decker critter nation cage. I purchased the full bottom pan and the cutout pan to cut down on them kicking their bedding out. It was amazing!
I’ve been using pillowcases to cover the plastic shelves, but they crawl inside them, chew the plastic shelf, and of course pee. Without bedding to absorb the pee, it gets gross fast.
I finally decided to purchase the shelf pans that match the bottom pans and it’s SO NICE! I’m able to put bedding on the shelves and it has drastically cut down on their smell.
The only thing I wouldn’t mind is having the shelf lip lower where they climb out to go down the ramp (like how the full size cutout shelf is). I understand that can’t happen since the ramps don’t have a set spot.
If you want the best of the best for your pets, get the critter nation cage and these pans to match.

Great replacement for original shelves. Slippery bottom, had to line it with cardboard under the bedding.

I am so glad I made this purchase. It is easier to clean the cage, the metal stays cool for my babies feets, and it fits perfectly. Great quality!

This pans fit the cage perfectly and I like how durable they are. My chinchillas chew anything plastic so the metal pans are so much better. The sides of the pan also help to reduce bedding from getting out of the cage. Highly recommend!
