I’ve had chinchillas for over 12 years and have gone through many different styles of Café. This is definitely one of the best but could use some improvements. I love the shelf guards but I wish they were more easily removable for cleaning since my younger chin likes to spray. I’m glad they came out with litter boxes so I’ll be ordering a few of those and hopefully that will help. Yes it’s expensive but, chins live for a really long time and I’m happy to invest in a good habitat for them. This cage is much easier to clean than previous cages I’ve had and they love the large wheel.

I live in California & not going to lie - I was a bit skeptical at first because it did take awhile (almost about a month) for my deluxe bundle package to come but when it did - boy was I super stoked and astounded! It came in 2 big packages. At first, I was a bit overwhelmed because I'm not usually good at assembling anything, however the pictures & directions that Quality Cage Crafters provided made it super easy for me to build the epic home for my little chin chin. The greatest things are worth waiting for and let me tell ya, this mansion was definitely worth the wait. My little chin chin is loving every bit of it all everyday and the fact that it's all around "chinchilla proof" (she can't bite/gnaw her way out of things without feeling bored) gives me happiness and ease of mind.
