My chins love this nest box and can usually be found napping in here together. I also like that they sell a replacement wood piece since my chins also enjoy chewing on it regularly.
It's great, the chinchilla love it.
Our chinchillas went into the nest box immediately after we put it into their cage. They love it! One of the two is in there almost all the time! Love that it attaches to the side of the cage! This was a problem work other nesting boxes- they would end up tipping them over or knocking other stuff in the cage over. This is highly recommended. Plus it will last! Quality construction! Almost indestructible! So happy I bought this!
My chins dont know what to do with nesting box. But I'm happy with the size because both of my chins will fit in it. I think quality of box excellent.
My Chinchilla's have had this for some time and really like it, it's steel so I hope it keeps them cool. Only issue with it is all the powder coating is coming apart and looks pretty sloppy now. Otherwise, great purchase and would recommend.
My chins love this! Nice and dark for them. Very easy to install. The wood insert is a little wobbly, so it makes some noise, but nothing I can't fix with some glue!
These were very easy to install on our ferret nation cage! We took to them right away and loved the extra room in the cage after the completely wooden houses were removed. Highlighy recommend them to any other chins out there looking for a cool, dark place to dream about the next dust bath!
As with everything that Quality Cage Crafters manufactures, this this a quality and solid build. There are simply no products on the market that are at in the same class. My only suggestion would be to possibly omit the metal bend at the bottom of the opening (or bend it all the way back 180 deg.) so that it's easier to clean out.
The chins love the metal hideout 🤗
My Chins love the nest box plus Joshua is really nice and help me get replacement for my bath dust for free!
